- This episode surprised me. I was already impressed with the FarmBox concept of vertical hydroponic growing in a controlled environment. FarmBox is more impressive than I’d imagined! Restauranteurs are buying them to source their own fresh ingredients. Prisons are installing them so that the incarcerated can learn farming while supplying produce. Schools, military bases, island communities… NASA even contracted to create a FarmBox for the MOON. Congratulations to FarmBox for winning the Colorado Chamber of Commerce’s “Coolest Thing Made in Colorado,” 2025!
